KnowingMe is here to make it safe and convenient for you to share details about your identity online without giving away too much personal information.

Digital identity credentials stored on your mobile device enabling you to quickly and conveniently verify who you are online.

KnowingMe works as an app that you download from the normal App stores on Android or Apple.

You onboard to the app with your ID document such as a passport or national ID card followed by a biometric liveness check. Please look for this symbol to ensure we can read your document: . Once your identity details are verified by KnowingMe they are returned to you and stored on your phone. Thereafter you are in full control of your own data and choose with whom to share it.

If you no longer want to be part of KnowingMe you simply delete your app and all data is gone forever.

You use the KnowingMe app by scanning a QR code or clicking a button when prompted to share personal information on a KnowingMe connected web service.

You’ll then be presented with a pop-up asking for consent to share the requested data with the displayed company for the listed reason. Once you have approved, the data will be securely shared with the company and your identity verified.
